What is Curba?​

Curba is a peer-to-peer rental marketplace where you can rent items from people in your community — or list your own items for others to rent. Think of it as Airbnb, but for things instead of places.

Whether you need a power drill for a weekend project, a camera for a trip, or party supplies for an event, Curba connects you with people nearby who have what you need.

How It Works​

For Renters​

  1. Browse — Find items near you by category or search
  2. Inquire — Select your dates and send a rental request to the host
  3. Pay — Once the host accepts, complete your payment securely Curba processes payment through Stripe
  4. Pick Up — Get the item from the host using the shared pickup details
  5. Return — Return the item by the agreed date and confirm the return
  6. Review — Rate your experience to help the community

For Hosts​

  1. Verify — Complete identity verification to start listing
  2. List — Create a listing with photos, pricing, and rental rules
  3. Accept — Review and accept incoming rental requests
  4. Share Details — Provide pickup instructions after payment
  5. Confirm Return — Inspect and confirm the item has been returned
  6. Earn — Withdraw your earnings from your account

Creating an Account​

  1. Visit curba.app
  2. Click Sign Up
  3. Enter your email and create a password
  4. Verify your email address
  5. Complete your profile (name, optional phone number)

You can start browsing and renting right away. To list items, you'll need to complete Identity Verification.
