Host Earnings and Withdrawals
How You Earn on Curba
When a renter picks up your item, the payment is captured and your earnings are deposited to your Stripe Connect account. You can withdraw your balance at any time.
Earnings Breakdown
Your earnings per rental are calculated as:
Earnings = Rental Subtotal - Host Service Fee
The host service fee is a small percentage that helps keep Curba running. You'll see the exact fee breakdown for each booking.
Setting Up Payouts
Before you can receive earnings, you need to complete Onboarding and add a Payout Method to your account:
- Go to Profile > Transactions
- Look for the Payout Methods section
- Click Add Method
- Select Card or Bank Account
- Once complete, payout method will be added
When Do You Get Paid?
| Event | What Happens |
|---|---|
| Renter picks up item | Payment is captured |
| Booking completes | Earnings available in your Stripe balance |
| You request withdrawal | Funds transfer to your bank account |
Viewing Your Earnings
- Go to Profile > Transactions to view your earnings history
- Each transaction shows the booking details and amount earned
- You can see your current available balance
Withdrawing Your Earnings
- Navigate to Profile > Transactions
- View your available balance
- Request a withdrawal to your linked bank account
- Funds are transferred to your default payout method via Stripe's standard payout schedule
Tips for Hosts
- Complete onboarding early so you're ready to receive your first payment
- Keep your bank details up to date to avoid payout delays
- Select a default payout method of your choice to receive funds in the account
- Check your transactions regularly to track your earnings
- Set competitive pricing to attract more bookings and increase your earnings
